What’s On
PANE
PANE is a site-specific window exhibition series at OPENSPACE Gallery, founded and led by Joanna Wilson and Clare Waddle (Yellow Broom).
Set directly on Grantown High Street, the gallery window becomes both frame and threshold a public platform where work is viewed through the pane and shaped by light, reflection and passing people. The window is not a backdrop; it is part of the artwork.
PANE exists to support risk. Selected artists are invited to step outside commercial expectation and experiment with installation, scale and new ideas.
Through the PANE Open Edge Prize, the window is awarded to artists ready to push their practice further prioritising exploration over sales, process over polish.
The window becomes a testing ground.
The street becomes audience.
The work becomes a step forward.
